Worksport Ltd., through its subsidiaries, designs, develops, manufactures, and owns the IP on a variety of tonneau covers, solar integrations, and H2 NP green energy solutions for clean energy & automotive industries. Worksport will manufacture its advanced products in its 152,847-square-foot facility located in West Seneca NY, including its brand-new solar cover, SOLIS, which is primarily constructed of aluminum components and a slight modification of one of Worksport’s other product lines, the tri-fold tough cover.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with manufacturing equipment used in tonneau cover production
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and avoid downtime
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts on machinery as needed
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and address them proactively
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and adjustment of machinery as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience working in a manufacturing environment as a machine mechanic
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Experience with preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with the operation of machinery used in tonneau cover manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
