Worksport Ltd., through its subsidiaries, designs, develops, manufactures, and owns the IP on a variety of tonneau covers, solar integrations, and H2 NP green energy solutions for clean energy & automotive industries. Worksport will manufacture its advanced products in its 152,847-square-foot facility located in West Seneca NY, including its brand-new solar cover, SOLIS, which is primarily constructed of aluminum components and a slight modification of one of Worksport’s other product lines, the tri-fold tough cover.
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in operating manufacturing equipment and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery used in the production of tonneau covers according to specifications
- Inspect machinery to ensure it is in good working order and perform routine maintenance as needed
- Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform minor repairs
- Assist in the setup, calibration, and adjustment of machinery as needed
- Monitor the production process and adjust machine settings to ensure quality and efficiency
- Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient production
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year of experience in operating manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with the operation of machinery used in manufacturing
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Compensation: $20-$22 / hour with comprehensive benefits, and paid vacation/sick time
