Worksport Ltd., through its subsidiaries, designs, develops, manufactures, and owns the IP on a variety of tonneau covers, solar integrations, and H2 NP green energy solutions for clean energy & automotive industries. Worksport will manufacture its advanced products in its 152,847-square-foot facility located in West Seneca NY, including its brand-new solar cover, SOLIS, which is primarily constructed of aluminum components and a slight modification of one of Worksport’s other product lines, the tri-fold tough cover.
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in manufacturing and assembly and be able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
• Assemble tonneau covers according to specifications
• Use hand and power tools to cut, trim, and shape materials as needed
• Inspect parts to ensure they meet quality standards
• Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient production
• Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve production goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Meet daily production quotas while maintaining a high level of quality
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of experience in manufacturing and assembly
• Familiarity with hand and power tools used in assembly
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Compensation: $18-$20 / hour with comprehensive benefits, and paid vacation/sick time
